This site is documentation for refpoint. It collects no personal data. This notice states what it does record and why.
No cookies for tracking
This site sets no tracking, advertising, or third-party cookies. The only value it stores in your browser is your theme choice, light or dark, kept in local storage on your device and never transmitted.
Privacy-friendly analytics
This site uses Umami, an open source analytics tool, to understand which pages are read and how visitors arrive. Umami runs without cookies and without persistent identifiers.
What Umami collects
- Page views and navigation between pages
- Referrer source
- Browser type and operating system
- Device type: desktop, mobile, or tablet
- General location at country or region level
What Umami does not collect
- Personal or personally identifiable information
- IP addresses
- Cookies or persistent identifiers
- Cross-site or cross-device tracking data
Why Umami
The data is anonymous and aggregated: it shows trends, not individual behaviour. Umami is designed to be GDPR-friendly, and its source is open for inspection.
Data retention
Analytics data is kept for 6 months to analyse trends and improve the site. It is not shared with third parties and not used for advertising.
Other requests
Fonts, styles, scripts, and search are served from this site. Search runs on an index downloaded with the site; queries never leave your browser. The analytics script is the only request your browser makes to another host.
Hosting
The hosting provider that serves these files may keep standard web server access logs, which include the requesting IP address, for operational and security purposes. The maintainer does not use those logs to identify or profile visitors.
Your rights
No personally identifiable information is collected, so there is no personal data to request, correct, or delete.

Pages link to external sites, such as the source repository and the walkthroughs. Those sites have their own privacy terms, which this notice does not cover.
